It's quite common for a dining room or kitchen in a small home to be fairly small itself and finding the narrowest dining table and chairs to fit can be quite a challenge!
But don't worry, because I have scoured the web for some great items that are for sale right now and I'll give you the details of what I found so far.
What we're looking for is a table that is very narrow so it fits into a small room while allowing enough space to include some dining chairs to fit around it for people to sit in of course!
The idea is to have a workable size tabletop so at least four people can eat at the table at the same time and maybe even provide the facility of extending for those odd times when guests come around and you need to seat more than that.
The big problem a lot of people have is finding furniture that fits their needs in terms of overall dimensions while still being of good quality and also affordable.
I looked around online and discarded a lot of stuff that looked cheap or flimsy and that left me with some surprisingly good sets that would be perfect for even the smallest of dining spaces.
My old favorite store, Amazon has a few really nice dining sets that are really compact but look great and I can see from the customer reviews from buyers that they are of good quality.
So that's a good place to start and to save you time and a lot of searching around, I'll give you details of three of Amazon's best sellers from this category that are also narrow and will fit into a small room while looking great and being sturdy and functional as well.
I'll begin with the smallest, narrowest table of the three:

If narrowness is a feature that you are looking for, this table is most certainly that!
At just 22.25 inches it will esaily fit into just about any small space and still look and feel great while being surprisingly comfortable to sit and eat at.
The set includes a small, rectangular table and two padded stools, constructed in solid hardwood with espresso finish and a faux stone paper-wrapped table top.
The stools, which tuck under table for handy storage are padded with black vinyl upholstery.
This great set may be expensive looking but it's certainly easy on the wallet. Here are the dimensions:

If you are in need of a great looking, small size table with chairs that has a big feel to it, this one (pictured) is one of my favorites.
The table, bench and stools are sturdy wood. All wood and no particle board. The quality is exceptional for the price!
According to the manufacturer, the Crown Mark Tyler 4 piece counter height dining set in two-tone finish (black and cognac) is perfect for a small dining area or breakfast nook. Seats are gently sloping to provide comfortable seating.
The stools can go under the table when not in use, where they fit perfectly. The height makes it feel a little larger than it actually is, adding some depth to any room.

All in all, these are three quite differently styled sets of dining furniture that can perfectly compliment your own space where square footage is limited.
Each will have its place in the right home and in the right setting, so all you need to do is decide which you believe is the right one for your dining area.
